QC students make, donate blankets to Argrow’s House

7 people standing and holding tie blanketsMembers of the Quad-Cities Campus Student Government Association made and donated 25 fleece tie blankets to Argrow’s House, an organization that supports female survivors of domestic abuse or sexual violence.

The students decided to fund raise and create tie blankets to fulfill one of SGA’s constitution cornerstones – outreach and volunteerism. Numerous Quad-Cities Campus clubs and organizations joined in to help make the blankets during the Fall 2023 semester. They presented the blankets to Ms. Kathy from Argrow’s House at the Feb. 22 monthly Inter Club Council meeting.

The project provided a rewarding and fun service opportunity for Quad-Cities Campus student leaders to benefit individuals in need.
