Congratulations to Fall 2020 highway construction grads

5 people lined up in parking lotCongratulations to the recent graduates of the Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP) at Black Hawk College.

From left to right, they are Kossi Dahoui of Silvis, Billy Murphy of Port Byron, James Gibson of Davenport, Ryan Tuttle of Erie, and Eric Navarro of Moline. Kossi Dahoui had perfect attendance for the 13-week program.

The 450-hour program aims to increase the number of minorities, women and disadvantaged individuals working on Illinois Department of Transportation highway construction projects. There is no cost to participants who are accepted into the program.

The next HCCTP begins Monday, March 1 with orientation sessions Jan. 26, Jan. 27, Jan. 28, Feb. 2 or Feb. 4. For more information, visit the Highway Construction Careers Training Program.
