BHC honor society students win regional awards

Congratulations to the Quad-Cities Campus chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society for bringing home six regional awards!

2 certificates and 4 awards

At the 2022 Phi Theta Kappa Illinois Regional Convention and Honors Institute, the chapter was recognized for several accomplishments.

These awards come from chapter work done in 2021 by current members, alumni members, and especially the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 officer teams.

  • Leader of Distinction to Vice President of Scholarship Miranda Banks of Rock Island
  • Hall of Honor Officer Award to Chapter President Comlan (Blaise) Kinto of Moline

The chapter also was acknowledged as a Five Star Chapter, and the chapter advisor Nicole Banks was acknowledged as a Five Star Advisor. Both of these rankings come from trainings and accomplishments done by the chapter and/or advisor during the year using a 0-5 star ranking system.
