Sample Transfer Plans

Do you intend to transfer after attending Black Hawk College, but have not selected a transfer school? Use a Sample Transfer Plan with an Area of Focus related to your eventual major and work with your advisor each semester to select courses.

  • Courses can be incorporated into the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees.
  • Complete introductory and required pre-requisite courses for your transfer major.
  • Build a strong academic record for admission and scholarship opportunities.

Students with a specific transfer school in mind should NOT use Sample Transfer Plan, but instead should seek advising from Black Hawk College and the transfer school to meet the transfer institution’s requirements. Course and transfer requirements can vary among institutions and may differ from Sample Transfer Plan recommendations. View many transfer schools at Transfer Guides and Agreements.
