The 2026 Black & Gold Celebration raised more than $58,000 for the Black Hawk College Foundation.
The fourth annual event featured the 2026 BHC Alumni Hall of Fame induction, live music from the BHC Jazz Ensemble and a silent auction. Kenneth E. Allison, BHC alum and 2023 Hall of Fame inductee, was the guest speaker.

Alumni Hall of Fame
The BHC Alumni Hall of Fame welcomed seven new members at the celebration.
Inductees must have completed at least 30 credit hours at Black Hawk College and are selected based on two criteria – outstanding distinction and success in their chosen field and humanitarian service that has proven beneficial to society.

“We love seeing how alumni have taken their experience at Black Hawk College and turned it into something meaningful,” said Zenaida Landeros, executive director of the Black Hawk College Foundation. “And these alumni have gone on to do some pretty amazing things.
“We’re proud to celebrate all they’ve accomplished and welcome them to the Hall of Fame,” she said.
