Biography

A lifelong Moline resident and Black Hawk College alumna, Zenaida Landeros earned her Associate in Arts in 2004. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College in 2007 and an executive Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 2017.

Landeros began her career in higher education before serving as executive director of the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She returned to education in 2020 to lead the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Foundation.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Landeros secured grants to expand student access to technology, increasing availability of laptops and hotspots by 30 percent.

She serves on several community boards, including LULAC Council 5285, Ascentra Credit Union Latino Advisory Committee and the WQPT PBS Community Advisory Board. She is dedicated to creating opportunities for students through education, advocacy and resource development.
