Following a national search, Chris M. Snoddy has been appointed vice president for student services at Black Hawk College. Snoddy will begin his role on July 1, 2026.

Mr. Snoddy is the type of leader who can help that team continue to grow and thrive.”
“I am honored to be selected as the next vice president for student services at Black Hawk College,” said Snoddy. “I am overjoyed for the opportunity to partner with faculty, staff and students in continuing the work of creating educational pathways and life-changing experiences for students to achieve their academic and professional goals.”

About Chris M. Snoddy
Snoddy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Communication and African/African American Studies and Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
He currently serves as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Student Success at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC). Since 2019, he has provided strategic leadership across multiple student-facing departments, aligning resources and services to improve student access, persistence and completion while advancing data-informed student success initiatives.
Before his tenure at OCCC, Snoddy spent 17 years at the University of Central Oklahoma in leadership roles, including Director of Student Conduct and Assistant Director for Residence Life, building a strong foundation in student development, behavioral intervention and student engagement.
Throughout his career, Snoddy has remained committed to fostering inclusive campus environments, strengthening systems of care and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, including Title IX and ADA frameworks.
