BHC wins NACTA Judging Conference for 17th time
Congratulations to our East Campus students and coaches for winning the 2026 North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference Sweepstakes Award!
Crops and soil judging teams provide students with hands-on experience in agriculture and environmental sciences, blending classroom knowledge with real-world applications. Team members compete in events focused on identifying and evaluating crops, seeds, weeds and pests, as well as analyzing soil properties like texture, drainage and fertility. Through fieldwork and problem-solving challenges, students develop critical skills in sustainable agriculture, land management, and environmental stewardship. Joining the team offers a unique opportunity to enhance practical knowledge, build teamwork, and prepare for careers in farming, agronomy and natural resource management.
