Midwest Technical Institute Transfer Info
Black Hawk College collaborates with Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) to facilitate the transfer of select MTI certificates toward Associate in Applied Science degrees in Health Information Management or General Occupational and Technical Studies. Graduates from MTI since October 2018 with certificates in Dental Assisting, Journeyman Welder, Journeyman Welder II, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding, Pharmacy Technician, or Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration are eligible for this partnership. Transfer guides and additional resources are available to assist in the transition. Occupational Therapy Assistant
Make a difference in people’s lives with a career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). OTAs collaborate with occupational therapists to support individuals across the lifespan—from birth to end of life—helping them regain independence and improve their physical, emotional and mental well-being after injury or illness.
