Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are needed to serve communities large and small in and around the Quad Cities.

Black Hawk College offers an eight-week EMT-Basic course in the summer at its Quad-Cities Campus in Moline.

Learn how to:

  • Provide basic emergency care at the scene of an accident or illness.
  • Stabilize and transport the patient to a health care facility.
  • Treat common medical emergencies and trauma injuries.

Summer 2025 classes begin June 3 and are Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. plus clinical hours.
