Through specialized training, individuals are prepared to become proficient judicial reporters, broadcast captioners, and computer-aided real-time transcriptionists (CART). Graduates of the program are well-prepared to succeed in the industry and can confidently pursue certifications such as the Illinois Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) and the national Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) exams.
