The Black Hawk College IHSA Equestrian Team invites you to an informational meeting in Building 7, Room 115.

Riders needed

The team is open to Western and Hunt Seat riders of all experience levels. We compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) where the playing field is leveled, providing multiple divisions for riders who have never shown a horse to those with World and National titles.

For our team to be competitive, we need riders in every division!

Horse not needed

You do NOT have to own a horse to be part of the team! Black Hawk College provides the horses and can provide most of the required show apparel, making it possible for students with a wide range of experience and resources to participate.

Team success

Black Hawk College is the only two-year school in the country to win the IHSA Western National Championship, and we have done it twice!

This is a testimony to our Equestrian Program and the students who choose to show up, work hard and support on another.
