Competing regionally and nationally, the Braves have had great success in athletics; from softball coach Carrie Calderon reaching her 600th career win, to the golf team preparing for Nationals in the spring, The Braves have certainly made a name for themselves in the Arrowhead conference. Also winners in the classroom, the 2009 softball team was awarded the President’s Award spring semester with a grade point average of 3.6/4.0. That makes them runner-up in the nation for team GPA. This just proves that our athletes are as serious about performing in the classroom as performing during the big game. All of the Braves’ home games are played on our Quad-Cities Campus in Moline, Ill. However, the men’s golf team faces off in Port Byron, Ill.
