WQAD - Black Hawk College contributes nearly $291 million to the regional economy, supporting local jobs and workforce growth while helping graduates build careers in the community.
Black Hawk College could offer select bachelor’s degrees under a proposed state initiative aimed at expanding access to four-year programs. College leaders say the focus would be on high-demand, workforce-driven fields not currently offered by universities, helping fill regional gaps while maintaining existing partnerships.
