Black Hawk College has released new findings from a comprehensive economic impact study showing the college contributed nearly $291 million in total income to the local economy during the 2023-24 fiscal year.

Adults who are taking Black Hawk College classes to learn English or earn their high school diploma or GED® will be able to simultaneously enroll in welding classes thanks to a new grant.

Accreditation is important to Black Hawk College to remain competitive with other learning institutions, as it provides assurance to the public, in particular to prospective students.
