As the 2025-26 academic year comes to a close, Black Hawk College is proud to celebrate our graduates. Take a look back at all that you’ve accomplished and all the exciting things you’ve experienced this year. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

After putting college on hold to raise her family, Jessica Torrence returned to Black Hawk College to pursue her goals in business and real estate. With support from faculty and hands-on experience, she built confidence, earned her degree and launched a growing career—all while balancing life as a busy mom.

The Damon Thompson who dropped out of high school in 2018 is not the same Damon Thompson who is graduating from Black Hawk College in 2026. Since starting college classes, he has changed a lot for the better, both mentally and physically.

Black Hawk College graduates can pick up their cap and gown May 13 at both the Quad-Cities and East campuses. Designated pickup times are available, with additional options through Enrollment Services for those unable to attend the scheduled event.

Delta Alpha Pi and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies welcomed new members at their first-ever joint induction ceremony at the East Campus.

Have you applied for graduation? To have your name appear in the commencement program and order your cap and gown, you must apply by Friday, March 13.
