Black Hawk College is launching a new mascot costume and character as part of our 80th Anniversary celebration. The mascot will continue to represent the Black Hawk College Braves. Our college name and logos are not changing.

Black Hawk College began in 1946 as Moline Community College, created to provide greater access to higher education for local residents, including World War II veterans returning home to pursue a college education.
