Congratulations to Black Hawk College women’s basketball players Kaylie Pena and Peyton Bose for earning both regional and conference honors!
“I couldn’t be more proud of these two,” said Logan Frye, head coach.
“These awards aren’t just for the shots they made – and they hit plenty of big ones – but for the relentless commitment they showed when the season got grueling,” he said.
“When we faced adversity, they didn’t just battle, they thrived,” Frye said. “Their toughness, resilience and growth define what our program is about.”
Pena is a sophomore guard who attended United Township High School in East Moline, IL, and Bose is a freshman guard who attended East Buchanan High School in Winthrop, IA.
