Want to run for student trustee on the BHC Board of Trustees?

For 2026-27, the student trustee will be from the Quad-Cities Campus.

Details

  • Candidate application packets will be available starting Monday, Feb. 9 in the Student Life Office in Building 4, Room 202.
  • Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 27 at 4 p.m.
  • Voting will be online starting Wednesday, March 4 at 8 a.m. Voting will close Thursday, March 5 at 4 p.m.
  • The new student trustee will be seated at the Thursday, April 23 board meeting.

Black Hawk College is directly governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, all of whom are elected from within the district for six-year terms. A student representative, elected in alternating years for a one-year term from each of the two campuses, is a non-voting member of the board.
