Steven Frommelt Executive VP of Finance & Administration

Biography

Steve Frommelt has worked in the community college system since 2011, bringing experience in public accounting and systems automation. He oversees the college’s financial and administrative operations and serves as its representative to the Illinois Community College Risk Management Consortium, where he has served on the Executive Committee since 2018 and is the current chair.

Frommelt earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Loras College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University.

He is a member and past president of the Illinois Community College Chief Financial Officers group and serves on the boards of Vera French and the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. He has been a member of the Vera French Board of Directors since 2016 and its Executive Committee since 2017.

Frommelt lives in the Quad Cities area with his partner and their four children. In his free time, he enjoys exploring nature and spending time with his pets.
