Biography
Jacob “Jay” Newbury is a marketing student worker and Black Hawk College student studying to achieve his associate degree in fine arts. He started studying at Black Hawk College in the fall semester of 2025 after being laid off from his factory position. His goal is to transfer to an institution with an animation program once he achieves an associate degree so he may practice the skills needed to work in the animation industry. Until then, he is a malleable learner and versatile artist advancing as many skills in the arts as he can, striving toward polymathy in and out of his area of study.
