Ceremony details

• Tickets are not needed to attend.
• Parking is free.
• The venue is handicapped accessible.
• There will be a sign language interpreter.

Arena security details

Guests and attendees are required to enter through entrances with walk-through metal detectors.

• The Vibrant Arena has a “no bag” policy. Bags are not permitted in the arena, with exception of small clutch purses (5″ x 7″ by 2″). Clear bags of larger size are not permitted.
• Small diaper bags are permitted when entering with a child age 3 and younger.
• Car seats and strollers are not permitted into the arena and must be checked at Guest Services.
• Outside food and beverage, including water, may not be brought into the Vibrant Arena.
• Laser pointers, cans, bottles, knives, weapons, explosives, fireworks, and any materials deemed harmful are not permitted within the Vibrant Arena. 
• Cameras and selfie sticks are prohibited at ticketed events.
• Pets or animals (with exception of service animals), beach balls, frisbees, helium balloons, and noisemakers deemed inappropriate to the event.
• In accordance with the Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act (430ILCS 66/65), no firearms are permitted within the Vibrant Arena.
• The Vibrant Arena is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is allowed on exterior terraces only. Electronic cigarettes may not be used within the venue.

Road construction

Please allow for extra time due to a partial road closure on River Drive. Both the River Drive and 6th Avenue exits off I-74 allow for access to the arena. Follow your GPS and detours.

Pre-orders

• Pre-order items and pick them up at the ceremony at the table on the concourse.
• Ordering ahead is super easy and ensures your grad gets everything they want.

At the ceremony

• Purchase items at the ceremony at the table on the concourse.
• Credit, debit, Apple Pay and Cash App payments will be accepted.

*Students who submitted their graduation application by the deadline and decided to participate in the ceremony will have their name on the back of the shirt. There is no guarantee that a name submitted after the deadline will be listed on shirts being sold at the ceremony.
