Panther Pledge

Guaranteed admission program to the university to complete a bachelor’s degree after earning an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree (choice of major not guaranteed).

Must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA and 2.0 GPA from the last institution attended.
EIU agrees to accept all college-level credit completed at your community college in accordance with current transfer and articulation policies and processes.
Students could win a $2,000 EIU scholarship by attending the Transfer Open House.

IAI Participant

This college or university participates in the Illinois Articulation Initiative.

The Illinois Articulation Initiative General Education Core Curriculum (IAI GECC) is a collection of general education courses that, when completed, an IAI participating institution agrees to accept in place of its own comparable lower-division general education requirements. Completing the IAI GECC works best for students who plan to transfer to an IAI participating school but who have not decided which one.

When the IAI GECC is not completed before transfer, the transfer school will evaluate general education courses on a course-by-course basis.
