The Engineering Technology – Manufacturing Track AAS offers students a direct path to diverse career opportunities in industrial settings after just two years of study. Graduates can enter the workforce right away or choose to transfer to a university for further education. In the first year, students will build a solid foundation in subjects like AutoCAD, DC circuits, machining, PC applications, hydraulics/pneumatics, and technical math and calculus. After this, they can specialize in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering technology. Real-world experience is emphasized, with opportunities for internships in industrial environments.
