Students with financial aid (loans, scholarships, grants, etc.) for Spring 2026 may use their funds in the college bookstores Jan. 12-30.
The Assistant Teacher Certificate is designed to prepare individuals to be teachers in a child care center and/or preschool setting. The certificate will provide 18 hours credit toward an A.A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education as well as the coursework to equal a Gateways Level 2 credential.

Adults who are taking Black Hawk College classes to learn English or earn their high school diploma or GED® will be able to simultaneously enroll in welding classes thanks to a new grant.
