Student services offices at both Black Hawk College campuses will have extended hours in August to help you get ready for Fall 2026!

Back in May, Chris Snoddy, was appointed Vice President for Student Services of Black Hawk College (BHC). He officially began on July 1 and oversees student-facing departments that support enrollment, student success, engagement, retention and completion across the College. 

Congratulations to the 94 Black Hawk College student-athletes who earned the 2025-26 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Arrowhead Academic All-Conference/Academic Excellence Award.

Fifty-three student-athletes representing all eight Black Hawk College sports teams recently earned All-Academic Team honors from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for their 2025-26 overall GPAs.

A new group is entering QC campus’ grounds and they are currently hosting tryouts. Come learn about the Spirit Squad and what opportunities they are offering to students.

Black Hawk College recently celebrated the accomplishments of 74 students at the annual GED® and High School Completion Graduation Celebration.

The Black Hawk College Board of Trustees has unanimously approved a contract extension for President Dr. Jeremy Thomas through June 30, 2030.

Pride Alliance first entered Black Hawk College’s (BHC) Quad-Cities (QC) Campus in 2023. For its members, the group has become a space where students can express themselves through identity and shared interests.

At the end of the fall and spring semesters, Black Hawk College publishes High Honors and Honors lists to honor students for their academic achievement.
