Join The Gray Matters Collective for a free lunch and presentation on combating loneliness.
Guest speaker Stephen Martell from First Choice Healthcare/Henry & Stark County Health Department will present “From Isolation to Connection: Harnessing the Power of Listening, Communication and Hope.”
Attendees will:
- Gain knowledge on the concept of loneliness and social isolation and their impact on public health.
- Explore the power and impact communication and connection with others has on our overall physical and mental health.
- Learn active listening skills to enhance communication skills with others and become better listeners to our children and peers.
- Discuss the power that communication and inclusion has to foster hope in others to reduce loneliness.
