Online tutoring services
Students enrolled in any BHC campus or site now have access to online tutoring services. Black Hawk College offers Live Homework Help®, an online tutoring service from Tutor.com™ that connects students to expert tutors (at no charge) in math, science, social studies and English via the Internet. Spanish-speaking tutors are available to help students in math and science.

The Online Tutoring Lab at the Quad-Cities Campus, located in Building 1, Room 101-B,  provides quick access to the BHC online tutoring services through Tutor.com for students who want self-directed tutoring options. The Online Tutoring Lab provides another option if the walk-in tutoring center is busy, or you need a tutor in a subject area not currently available.

Online Tutoring Lab hours for Spring 2012:

  • Monday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
