The East Campus Independent Learning Center is located in A-239. Tests for Online classes, Going the Distance, Study Unlimited, and tests for East Campus faculty and distance learning classes are taken at the ILC.
East Campus ILC Testing Hours
Exams are given only during testing hours. Although appointments for testing are not necessary, we do require that you allow enough time to complete your test during the scheduled hours. You must bring a photo ID to take your exams.
Monday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday: 1 – 6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Closed Wednesdays, weekends, and holidays.
We will do our best to accommodate Compass any day by appointment. Contact Pauline Kunz at 309-854-1707 to schedule Compass or the Teas test in advance.
Note: Quad Cities Campus ILC testing hours are different than East Campus.
The syllabus for Online classes can be found on the course page in Canvas. The syllabus will indicate whether testing will be done online or onsite in the ILC.
Study Unlimited/Going the Distance Students
Your syllabus and a letter from your instructor will be mailed to you. The yellow “Intent to Complete” postcard included with your syllabus must be mailed during the first 10 days of class. If you have not received your syllabus by the first week of the semester, please contact Josh Mills at 309-854-1732 or email@example.com.Required texts and study guides are available in the East Campus Bookstore.
If your class requires the use of video or audiotapes, please check with the library staff. All tapes are available for in-library use and many are available for overnight checkout.
If your instructor states in the syllabus that there will be an orientation meeting, please note that it will be held at the Quad Cities’ Campus unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to attend please contact the instructor. Please call your instructor with questions or problems.
