The student trustee is elected in alternating years from each of the two BHC campuses. Craig brings experience from both campuses as she is majoring in art teacher education at the Quad-Cities Campus and took dual credit classes at the East Campus. She graduated from Galva High School in 2025 and was a co-valedictorian.

Craig is working toward her American FFA Degree, the highest honor from the National FFA Organization. She values community involvement and often supports the Galva Arts Council, showing her belief that real leadership starts with service.

Craig is active on campus as a senator and serves on the Volunteer/Outreach Committee in Quad-Cities Campus Student Government Association (SGA). She also is involved in Phi Theta Kappa honor society, the Honors Program, TRIO and Art Collective. She has helped organize events like the Open House in Building 2 and visits to a local nursing home. Before becoming an SGA Senator, she attended every SGA meeting and most campus events, showing her initiative, commitment and genuine desire to help.

By being part of TRIO, Craig has learned about the challenges students face. Her work in SGA and groups like Phi Theta Kappa and Art Collective has helped her grow as a leader and connect with students from many backgrounds, both traditional and nontraditional. She listens, builds relationships, and speaks up for students on both campuses.

Craig sought to become student trustee to help students be heard, represent both campuses fairly, and learn more about how boards work as she prepares for a career in education. She is passionate, approachable and committed, and says she is ready to lead, serve and make a difference.
