Hunt the Hawk – East Campus Orientation

Let’s Hunt the Hawk! Join us for a fun twist on orientation – an on-campus scavenger hunt!

Start in Building A in the auditorium. We’ll give you a BHC survival backpack and you’ll learn the rules of the hunt!

To play:

1. Find the seven locations around the campus as indicated on your campus map.
2. Collect handouts and goodies plus a number sticker from each location showing that you visited all seven stops.
3. Once you have visited each location and collected all the handouts and goodies and show us your selfie with your favorite horse in the barn, go back to the start to enter in the drawing to win one of several $50 gift cards.

Locations to find:

1. Library – Learn about library resources and sign up for your library card.
2. Enrollment Services – Get Enrollment Services information, FERPA information and parent pamphlets.
3. Advising – Connect with your assigned advisor.
4. Science classrooms and labs – Learn about student clubs and organizations.
5. Building 1 – Visit The Kitchen (the on-campus food pantry).
6. Building 2 – Learn about myBHC, Canvas resources and financial aid workshops.
7. Horse stables entrance – Learn classroom success strategies and take a selfie with your favorite horse!
