Delta Alpha Pi and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies welcomed new members Feb. 22 at their first-ever joint induction ceremony at the East Campus.
Delta Alpha Pi
Delta Alpha Pi was chartered Sept. 4, 2024, at the East Campus to recognize high-achieving college students with disabilities. The organization seeks to lessen and eventually eliminate the stigma and negative stereotyping that historically have been associated with disability. Members challenge society to view disability as an aspect of diversity.
At the induction ceremony, three current Delta Alpha Pi members received their honor cords to wear at graduation – Danielle DeDecker, Morgan Heath and Jena Higon.
