Sample Transfer Plans

Do you intend to transfer after attending Black Hawk College, but have not selected a transfer school? Use a Sample Transfer Plan with an Area of Focus related to your eventual major and work with your advisor each semester to select courses.

Sample Transfer Plans help you:

• Discover what kind of courses are frequently needed for your major.
• Complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree before you transfer.
• Complete introductory and required pre-requisite courses for your transfer major.
• Build a strong academic record for transfer admission and scholarship opportunities.

Course and transfer requirements can vary among institutions and may differ from Sample Transfer Plan recommendations, so choosing a transfer school as soon as possible is encouraged. Seek advising from Black Hawk College and the transfer school to meet the transfer institution’s requirements.

Please note that for all plans, HUM 102 Non-Western Arts and Cultures also satisfies BHC’s Non-Western Studies graduation requirement (effective Fall 2021).
