In-person vs. virtual classroom vs. online?

  • An in-person class provides the traditional on-site instruction.
  • A virtual classroom provides real-time, online instruction. A student is responsible for the technology needed to attend the class.
  • An online class provides online instruction but not in real-time. A student is responsible for the technology needed to complete the class.

Each year, federal, state and local legislative changes affect how payroll is administered. PayTrain 1 is a training tool that will help keep you and your organization’s compliance up-to-date and provide excellent preparation for the FPC certification exam through the American Payroll Association (APA). PayTrain® Level 1

This program teaches fundamental payroll calculations and applications necessary for individuals who are new to the payroll industry, those who support the payroll industry, and those who are preparing for the FPC certification exam. This program will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills required to maintain payroll compliance. The materials are included in the cost of the course.
