PaCE Youth Tutoring Program for Students in Grade 6-12

Program Description

The PaCE Department is introducing a new program that brings one-on-one individualized tutoring to students in grades 6-12. Students will be video conferencing with a tutor in real-time. Below is a list of tutors. The cost is $20 for a 30-minute session. All tutoring sessions take place through Black Hawk College’s course management system called Canvas. This is the same platform used for College for Kids 2020. It is easy to use and is secure.

Registration is easy – Simply complete the registration with information about the student as well as details on the subject area where assistance is needed and day/time that works best. We will then contact you within two business days with your assigned tutoring time and will send you instructions on how to get to Canvas.

Students need to have their own internet access and laptop or mobile device that has a microphone and a camera. Refunds will be issued if the PaCE Department (309-796-8223) is contacted one full business day before the session is to begin.
