Program Description

Fork Truck Operator Safety and Driving Training  

This course follows the training requirements for OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.178. The training consists of classroom instruction that covers the content of the OSHA standard, types and characteristics of forklifts, pre-operation inspections, basic driving, stability and load handling, fuels, batteries, and attachments. Driving practice follows classroom instruction. Maximum of five per class. A Certificate of Completion is issued at completion of the class.

Refund Policy for Fork Truck Training: A full refund for Fork Truck Training will be granted when a student withdraws at least five business days prior to class start date by calling 309-796-5716.

Industrial Emergency Response Refresher Training

This refresher training meets the requirements of both the Hazardous Waste Sites (29 CFR 1910.120 (b-o) and Emergency Chemical Spill Response (29 CFR 1910.120 (q). This standard is also known as the HAZWOPER standard and is required by a government body whether federal, state or local involving hazardous substances. Attendees must have documentation they completed previous required training of 40-hour (29 CFR 1910.120 (b-o) or 24-hour Technician or 8-hour Operation Level according to (29 CFR 1910.120 (q).
