The Welding Certificate Program is designed to enable the graduate to succeed in employment as a welder in the industry. The graduate will be proficient in oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, arc welding, MIG, and TIG welding. Students receive various levels of welding proficiency after successfully completing tests which measure their welding skills.
Technician-level skills are developed in courses such as blueprint reading and measurement. At the Quad-Cities Campus, courses are taught at the United Township High School facilities.
