Program Description

Food Protection Manager Certification

This class uses ServSafe (an ANSI-CFP accredited exam provider) which meets Illinois and Iowa state requirements for the Food Protection Manager Certification. Students are given the option of purchasing the ServSafe Manager Book (English or Spanish) for $51. Books may be purchased before class begins. Books may not be returned for a refund. All book sales are final. The certification exam will be given at the end of the last class (if it is more than one session) and will take approximately two hours. Class will break for a 30-minute lunch (on your own) unless noted otherwise. Please bring a current photo ID in order to take the exam. All classes are held in-person.

Accelerated Food Protection Manager Certification

Instructor:  H. McKibbon

This class will take the food protection manager material and condense it into a shorter amount of time – one day. In addition, you will take the exam online at the end of the class so you will get your results immediately. If you are short on time and know what is required of you as a food protection manager, then this class is for you. Class will break for a 30-minute lunch (on your own). Please bring a current photo ID in order to take the exam. The optional book may be purchased before the class begins for $51. All book sales are final – no refunds allowed.
