Program Description

Directions to Bldg. 3 – Lower Gym

Enter the Northwest door to Bldg. 3. Take an immediate left down the stairs to the bottom floor. At the bottom floor, turn left and enter through the 2nd set of doors on the right. The lower gym is located in the middle of the track (second door on the right–next to the weight room.)

Ballroom Dancing – Latin Style

For beginners and intermediate dancers!

Spice up your dancing with Merengue, Rumba, Cha-Cha and Samba. These Latin dances range from slow romantic moves to fast and fancy footwork. Learn the steps and the styling. Intermediate dancers will appreciate the chance to improve their Cuban motion. Instruction also includes lead/follow and music identification. Bring soft-soled shoes to preserve our floor. (Registration information is needed for both parties).

Cardio Kickboxing

Join us as we combine martial arts with cardio to help increase stamina, improve coordination, and burn calories. Jab, knee, and kick your way through this fun and easy to follow Train Dirty Fitness Cardio Kick class! This high energy workout will challenge every fitness level. Wear comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement.

Hula Hoop Dance for Beginners
Instructor: A. Tonioni

An introduction to hoop dance that emphasizes mindfulness. Welcoming students age 16 and older, this class will take you on a journey toward self-discovery via the hula hoop. Find your fluidity through learning to dance with the hoop and develop peace of mind along the way. No prior experience is needed. Weighted hoops will be available at each class for a $5 usage fee. Or you may purchase a weighted hoop from the instructor at the first class for $30.

Self-Defense for Seniors
Instructor: Corporal C. Fiems

Learn how to avoid scams and safely protect yourself from potential criminals and physical attacks. By changing a few simple habits, you can avoid looking like a target. From how you carry your purse/wallet to where you park your car, all can be altered to increase safety. Join us for this interactive class and leave knowing you can make small changes that will increase your safety.

Ladies-Only Self-Defense

Being able to recognize dangerous situations and knowing how to escape them can be lifesaving skills. Join us for an interactive class that emphasizes awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance. Learn what small changes you can make that will have a great impact on your safety.
