Enter the Northwest door to Building 3. Take an immediate left down the stairs to the bottom floor. At the bottom floor, turn left and enter through the 2nd set of doors on the right. The lower gym is located in the middle of the track (second door on the right–next to the weight room.)

Ballroom Dancing – Latin Style

For beginners and intermediate dancers!
Spice up your dancing with Merengue, Rumba, Cha-Cha and Samba. These Latin dances range from slow romantic moves to fast and fancy footwork. Learn the steps and the styling. Intermediate dancers will appreciate the chance to improve their Cuban motion. Instruction also includes lead/follow and music identification. Bring soft-soled shoes to preserve our floor. 5K Your Way!

Walkers, joggers and runners welcome! Join us as we help you to develop an individualized plan to walk, jog or run a 5K, whether it is your first 5K or 50th! Our experienced instructor can help you build the stamina to complete a 5K and/or help you structure a plan to improve your time. This course will cover pre- and post-workout stretching as well as how to deal with typical exercise injuries. Class will meet at the Black Hawk College campus outdoor track, weather permitting. The course fee will include your registration fee for QC 5K on Saturday, May 4th.
