The Basics of Medical Practice Management

Looking for a career in the high-demand and growing field in health care administration? Get a broad overview of the business side of health care as you learn about credentialing and enrollment, government and third-party payers, prospective pricing, the three phases of billing, patient collections, A/R management, and reporting and monitoring. Review and discuss case studies and real-life challenges in the field. Basic Excel skills will be taught and applied to actual business case studies. Required textbook must be purchased at the Hawk’s Hub (the college bookstore) prior to first class.
