American Heart Association Health Care Provider Training Course (BLS-CPR)

Program Description

The American Heart Association designed the BLS for Health Care Providers Course to prepare a wide variety of health care professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies and to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course includes adult, child, and infant skills in both the out-of-hospital and in-hospital settings. Fee includes manual and BLS-CPR card.

AHA’s Heartsaver CPR (Adult, Child, Infant), AED and First Aid

This class is not intended for Health Care Providers.

Heartsaver® courses are intended for those with little or no medical training who need a course completion card for a job, regulatory (e.g., day care providers, OSHA), or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Courses are designed to prepare you to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner. This includes CPR for adult, child and infant as well as AED and first aid.  Fee includes manual and CPR card.
