Program Description

10–HOUR OSHA FOR GENERAL

INDUSTRY

Instructor: Jeff Clark

Participants will learn the major provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. New and updated information on the regulations will be discussed. Primary topics include; the inspection and citation process. The new working and walking surfaces, emergency plans and exit routes, Global Harmonization System (GHS), electrical safety, machine guarding and Updated Illness and Injury Recordkeeping. Other topics can be customized to meet the participants’ needs.

Instructor: Jeff Clark

Participants will learn the major provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry. Primary topics include; the inspection and citation process, working and walking surfaces including ladders and scaffolds, hazardous materials, fall protection, electrical safety, material handling and more. Additional topics can be customized to meets the participants needs. Participants will earn their OHSA’s 10 Hour Construction card upon completion of this class.

30-HOUR CONSTRUCTION COURSE

Instructor: Jeff Clark

The OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach training program is designed for individuals who work in the general industry and who require safety training. This includes foremen, supervisors, safety directors, and other professionals who are responsible for worker safety on sites. What is OSHA 30 General Industry Training? The OSHA 30 program is designed to give students an extensive overview of OSHA compliance issues. This includes an overview of common hazards in the workplace, OSHA regulations, and the role of employers in employee safety and worker rights. Students will also learn how to recognize hazards, prevent them, and avoid them. The participants of this particular class will receive safety policies, training presentations and other material.

EMERGENCY CHEMICAL SPILL RESPONSE

Instructor: Jeff Clark

Emergency Chemical Spill Response. This 8–hour course is for individuals who respond to the release or potential release of hazardous substances with the intent of protecting nearby persons, property or the environment. These individuals will alert proper authorities and/or contractors and will contain the release from a safe distance in a defensive mode only. This course meets the 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) operations level requirements. This class can also meet the 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) provided attendee supplies documentation of current Technician level training.

HOW TO CONDUCT A SAFETY AUDIT

Instructor: Jeff Clark

Conducting a facility Safety Audit is a proactive way to identify potential safety and health issues at you company. This class will conduct an on–site audit in an opening conference with OSHA, guide in facility walk through safety audit, and help you prepare for the closing conference if a compliance site visit should take place at your facility.
