DESCRIPTION:*Deadline extended to Monday\, May 26.*\nBlack Hawk College is launching a new Occupational Therapy Assistant program in Fall 2025. Interested students must apply by Monday\, May 12 May 26. \nThe BHC program does not have any course prerequisites\, however students do need to complete 10 hours of observation before they apply. They also need to provide a personal statement and two letters of recommendation. \nStudents graduate in just over two years (six semesters) with an Associate in Applied Science degree then are eligible to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification Exam. \nGet more information about the new Occupational Therapy Assistant program and how to apply. \nOTA program details
