DESCRIPTION:Love animals and science? Become a vet tech! \nApplications for the Veterinary Technology Program are due Saturday\, March 1 for the August 2025 start. The program admits up to 32 students each fall. Classes are at the East Campus in the Veterinary Sciences Center.\n \nThe two-year Associate in Applied Science degree program prepares students to perform veterinary procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian. Veterinary technicians are primarily employed in veterinary clinics and hospitals. \nThe Black Hawk College Veterinary Technology Program has received full accreditation by the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). \nGet more information or an application.
