SUMMARY:Use financial aid in the bookstores
DESCRIPTION:Students with financial aid (loans\, scholarships\, grants\, etc.) for Fall 2025 may use their funds in the East Campus Bookstore and the Hawk’s Hub from Monday\, Aug. 18 through Friday\, Sept. 5. \n\nStudents can use their accounts to buy textbooks\, clothing\, school supplies and more. \nFind Fall 2025 books in the online bookstore. \nStudents MUST provide their student ID (900# that is located in myBHC) to use their financial aid in the bookstore. \nBoth bookstores will have extended hours to help students get ready for Fall 2025: \n\nQuad-Cities Campus extended hours\nEast Campus extended hours\n\nFor more information\, email bookstoregroup@bhc.edu or call 309-796-5500.

We’ll give you a BHC survival backpack and you’ll learn the rules of the hunt! \nTo play:\n\nFind the seven locations around the campus as indicated on your campus map.\nCollect handouts and goodies plus a number sticker from each location showing that you visited all seven stops.\nOnce you have visited each location and collected all the handouts and goodies and show us your selfie with your favorite horse in the barn\, go back to the start to enter in the drawing to win one of several $50 gift cards.\n\nLocations to find:\n\nLibrary – Learn about library resources and sign up for your library card.\nEnrollment Services – Get Enrollment Services information\, FERPA information and parent pamphlets.\nAdvising – Connect with your assigned advisor.\nScience classrooms and labs – Learn about student clubs and organizations.\nBuilding 1 – Visit The Kitchen (the on-campus food pantry).\nBuilding 2 – Learn about myBHC\, Canvas resources and financial aid workshops.\nHorse stables entrance – Learn classroom success strategies and take a selfie with your favorite horse!
