She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb in 2015. Diana believes in the accessibility of art in local communities and in 2023 executed public art projects in Rockford\, IL\, and Elgin\, IL. She held a solo exhibition at the Rockford Art Museum in 2023 and has exhibited in the Beverly Arts Center\, Purple Window Gallery in Mana Contemporary Chicago\, Side Street Studio Arts\, Lubeznik Center for the Arts\, Beck Center for the Arts\, Oak Park Art League and other Midwestern galleries. Her first curational debut\, “Dawn is a Headspace\, Night is a Feeling” held at Purple Window Gallery in February 2024\, cultivated an accessible exhibition that showcased local\, national and international artists of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. \nIn their new body of work\, she incorporates personal archives of photographs embedded within her abstract environments. Diana explores a direction of preserving familial lineage\, confronting barriers of perception and ethnic ambiguity while honoring her multicultural background\, and uncovering faded memories suspended in the fabric of time. \nNatalie Pivoney\nNatalie Pivoney is a contemporary oil painter and educator serving as a project coordinator for Purple Window Gallery in Chicago. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2019 from Northern Illinois University\, a Master of Arts in Studio Art in 2016 from Eastern Illinois University\, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in art education in 2013 from Southern Illinois University where she earned her Illinois Professional Educator License. \nHer solo exhibitions include Chasing Dopamine at Purple Window Gallery in Chicago in 2023 and Games for May at Northern Illinois University in 2019 as well as numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States.
