DESCRIPTION:Feed the Hawk to help our students! \nHelp fill the cupboards in the college food pantries with food and hygiene products Wednesday\, Oct. 15 through Sunday\, Nov. 30 by donating at any BHC location! \nAdult Learning Center\n\nLobby\n\nCommunity Education Center\n\nLobby\n\nEast Campus\n\nBuilding A\, Room 130\, library\nBuilding B\, science wing\, lobby\nBuilding 7 (Ag Arena)\, outside faculty offices\nVeterinary Sciences Center\, lobby\n\nOutreach Center\n\nRoom 202\n\nQuad-Cities Campus\n\nBuilding 1\, upper lobby\, Welcome Desk\nBuilding 2\, lower lobby\nBuilding 3\, Room 322\, Police Department\nHealth Sciences Center\, main floor\, lobby\n\nItems needed\n\nConvenience foods\nNon-refrigerated microwavable meals\nPeanut butter and jelly\nMac ‘n’ cheese\nSoups\nGranola bars\nSnacks\nHygiene products such deodorant\, shampoo\, shower gel and toilet paper\n\nAll items will stay at their respective donation locations to benefit BHC students at those locations. \nMore info\nWant to donate money or gift cards or have questions? DESCRIPTION:Black Hawk College 5K Hustle – For the hill of it!\nRun or walk the hills of the Quad-Cities Campus! \nLocation\nBlack Hawk College\, outside Building 1 on the east side\, 6600 34th Ave.\, Moline. Enter from 70th Street and park in Lot 1. \nCourse\n5K road run and walk through the scenic\, rolling hills of the Quad-Cities Campus. \nRegistration\nRegister online. Cost is $25 if registered by Saturday\, Nov. 1. Starting Sunday\, Nov. 2\, cost is $30. The first 175 registered runners/walkers will receive an insulated grocery tote bag. \nPacket pickup & race day registration\nRace day from 6:45-7:45 a.m. in Building 1\, upper lobby. Race day registration is $30. \nAwards\nAwards to overall male and female and first three places in the following age groups: 0-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70 and over\, and wheelchair division (alternate flat course for the wheelchair division). \nPost-race party\nFruit\, cookies and door prizes\, including a drawing for two $100 cash awards (must be present to win) in Building 1\, upper lobby. \nSponsors\nTri-City Building Trades Council\, Associated General Contractors of the Quad Cities\, Athletico and IMPACT Construction Agreement \nBenefiting\nAll proceeds will benefit the Black Hawk College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program and its students through the Black Hawk College Foundation. \nQuestions\nContact Dianne Abels at abelsd@bhc.edu or 309-796-5394. \nThanks\nA special thanks to Jerry & Cathy Lack\, dedicated Black Hawk College supporters\, for their successful coordination of the race since 2012.
