ArtSpace Gallery exhibit
October 18, 2021 - December 10, 2021

The ArtSpace Gallery at the Quad-Cities Campus is exhibiting “A Selection from Blankety Blank, Blank Intensions” by artist Troy Swangstu from Monday, Oct. 18 through Friday, Dec. 10.
Troy Swangstu was born and raised in the Quad Cities. He graduated from Bettendorf High School then studied at the Kansas City Art Institute with a major in painting. He worked at various museums and galleries and exhibited locally in Kansas City as a student. He later moved just south of Kansas City to rural to Paola, Kansas, where he found a love for working with livestock in what’s known as regenerative farming (grazing) practices.
His work is described as transparent layers of spirited, reactive brushstrokes that dance among moments of academic forms and theories leaving behind expressionist pages full of learning outcomes and opportunities.
The ArtSpace Gallery is located on the first floor of Building 4 at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline.
