ArtSpace Gallery exhibit – BHC Alumni Show
August 23 - October 15
The ArtSpace Gallery at the Quad-Cities Campus is exhibiting the artwork of four Black Hawk College alumni from Monday, Aug. 23 through Friday, Oct. 15.
The alumni artists are:
- Pedro Carranza – industrial design artist – 2016 grad
- Nicole Davis – textile artist – 2017 grad
- Darby Hepner – illustrator – 2016 grad
- Jacob Miller – sculptor – 2013 grad
- Chelsea Ortiz – animator – 2012 grad
“Our alumni show comes with the celebration of Black Hawk College’s 75th anniversary,” said art instructor Annie Oldenburg.
“Over the years, the art department has seen a plethora of talent – students who have gone on to have successful visual communication careers, shown in fine art galleries globally, and made positive impacts on the Quad Cities community,” Oldenburg said.
“This variety of talent shows the diversity of our discipline and lets students see the many ways you can be successful in the arts,” she said.
The ArtSpace Gallery is located on the first floor of Building 4 at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline.
