2021-22 Season

In her first year as the head coach of the Braves, Coach Rayos rounded out the 2021-22 year with a 25-23 regular season record and went 25-25 overall on the year. This was the most wins for the program since 2014 and led the Braves to host a quarterfinal round in the postseason.

In conference play, the Braves went 13-7 and earned 2nd place in the Arrowhead Athletic Conference. Coach Rayos had the honor of coaching three NJCAA Region IV All-Region student-athletes – Dawsyn Hartman (1st Team), Emily Gamble (2nd Team) and Hannah Malmstrom (2nd Team). She also had two Arrowhead All-Conference recipients with Rachel Worley (catcher) and Ady Scott (DH). The Braves held their own with national statistics as well, ranking 9th in the nation for doubles (111), 10th for at bats (1,437), and 10th in hits (505). In the region, the Braves were 1st in at bats; 3rd in runs, hits and total bases; and 4th in doubles, RBIs and extra base hits. The Braves ended the season hitting .351 with 31 HRs.

The Braves also earned NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors in Spring 2022, ending with a 3.4 team GPA.
